Lismore Mayor Steve Krieg has discussed the lasting impacts of the devastating floods which hit northern New South Wales earlier in the year.
“We are nearly six months past what is probably going to be the biggest natural disaster in Australia’s history, financially, and there are a lot of people that are feeling abandoned, they are feeling lost,” he told Sky News host Erin Molan.
“They don’t have any real direction about where to turn to and who to ask for help. So, it is a real issue up here on the North Coast.”
