'After 70 years, surely we can give the Queen 24 hours': Piers Morgan

Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan says the UK bank holiday on Monday is the last "proper chance" to come together to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

"After 70 years, surely we can give the Queen 24 hours," said Mr Morgan.

"It’s a moment of paying tribute and respect, I think, to Queen Elizabeth II. This is our last … proper chance as a nation to come completely together.

"No one is being forced to watch it, but everyone is being given the chance and … I think that is the right thing to do on this day."
