Russian rising star Alina Korneeva continued her superb run of form by recording an upsetting victory against experienced Hungarian Timea Babos in the WIPHOLD International singles final.
The 15 year old produced a motivating performance against the four-time doubles grand slam champion to claim a 6-3 and 7-6 win.
This is Korneeva’ first title on African soil, and adds to her already-successful season that saw her claim the Australian Open Junior Girls title in January.
