Ambitious Entertainment Explains Why They Released Danya Devs’s Album Before Time

Ambitious Entertainment explains why they released Danya Devs’s album before time. Major record label Ambitious Entertainment gave clarity on why they dropped Blaq Diamond member Danya Devs’s album after tweeps called them shady.

Ambitious Entertainment and Blaq Diamond are still battling it out. It started with Ndu Browns, now it’s Danya Devs. The record label recently decided to release Danya’s debut album titled Inkosi Yoshuni before the release date. Danya took to his Instagram account to announce that his project will be released on the 24th of May 2023, however Ambitious Entertainment decided to drop it early on the 23rd of May 2023.

Blaq Diamond’s fans were not happy about what the record label did. They shared their frustrations saying that what they did was gratuitous. They also stated that the record label must stop shading and mistreating their former clients. “I don’t care if you guys are acting within your rights or not. You’re still wrong and release all Blaq Diamond’s songs. Maybe then, we will get a break from ya’ll”, a fan said.

Ambitious Entertainment shed a light on the issue and gave an explanation for their actions. They expressed that their former artists steal songs they paid for and make them theirs, making an example with a song released by Blaq Diamond in 2020 titled Qoma. They also shared that they have a right to release music they own masters for. They further added that they will not allow artists do how they please.

“Qoma was recorded in 2020 and released as a new song by Blaq Diamond. We supposed to just fold our arms and take it because artists are always right? These people are stealing songs we paid for and present them as new. If we own a master, we will release it”, Ambitious Entertainment tweeted.

The Blaq Diamond member has not yet commented on the matter.
