Following a hugely successful outing in the inaugural Toyota GR Cup, claiming outright victory in the GR Yaris single make series, our very own race-ace Ashley Oldfield was invited by Toyota SA to fill a seat in the final race of the 2022 GTC season. Ash really had his work cut out for him as he had never even driven a GTC car, nevermind raced in one. He barely had any time to practice at all before the lights went out and it was time to race.
