DA’s application to have EFF’s national shutdown declared unlawful dismissed

The Democratic Alliance’s application to have the #nationalshutdown declared unlawful has been dismissed. The Johannesburg High Court has however, interdicted EFF members and protestors from shutting down schools, businesses and public roads. The court has also interdicted protestors from promoting or inciting violence. Newzroom Afrika’s Mbali Thethani unpacks this.
