International Nurses Day is being commemorated today.
The day is aimed at highlighting the importance of nurses and the challenges they encounter in their line of work.
North West Health MEC Madoda Sambatha says the contribution of nurses in societies needs to be acknowledged.
He delivered the keynote address at the province’s commemorative event at Bojanala District.
