KZN usheres in Christmas with the birth of 47 babies

The KwaZulu-Natal province ushered in Christmas with the birth of 47 babies at different hospitals around the province.

In spreading some Christmas cheer, health MEC Nomagugu Simelane spent her day at a hospital in Stanger with the newborns and their parents.

The newborn babies and their mothers, along with children in the Paediatric ward, were showered with gifts.

The event also formed part of creating awareness around the early registration of births.
