The City of Johannesburg executive mayor Dr Mpho Phalatse has been
ousted in a motion of no confidence.
She previously survived two attempts to remove her from her Braamfontein office.
Phalatse of the DA was removed with 129 councillors voting against and
140 in favour.
Meanwhile, Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie says the DA had
reached out to them yesterday night with a power-sharing deal, which
they rejected.
McKenzie explains.
