Free State MEC Motshidise Koloi and her two co-accused granted bail

Free State MEC for Social Development Motshidise Koloi and her two co-accused Vusimuzi Rajuili and Serake Leeuw have all been granted bail by the Kroonstad District court.
The three, MEC Koloi, the Chief director at the Human settlement department - Vusimuzi Rajuili and the political advisor at the office of the executive mayor of Matjhabeng municipality, Serake Leeuw face charges of fraud, corruption, money laundering and contravention of municipal finance management act.
It is alleged that the three colluded to take R150 000 from Moqhaka municipality under the guise that the money would be used for sound system for Nelson Mandela Memorial lecture.
The money was paid but the event never took place.
