Pick n Pay founder Raymond Ackerman passes away

The founder of Pick n Pay Raymond Ackerman has passed away. The news has been confirmed by the retail group in a media statement. <br>The retailer says: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the death at the age of 92 of visionary South African, and founder of Pick n Pay, Raymond Ackerman."<br>He is survived by his wife, Wendy, 4 children, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.<br>More on this story later.
