Royal Family are 'attending public mourning events' in the 'midst of their grief'

Sky News host Peta Credlin says while members of the Royal Family will walk behind the Queen’s coffin in London, several Royal women will travel by car.

Travelling by car will be Camilla, the Queen Consort, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, Sophie, the Countess of Wessex and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

“A couple of things worth noting here, firstly, the inclusion of Meghan in this group – no doubt the body language experts and lip readers will be poring over that,” she said.

“You’ve got Catherine, the Princess of Wales, she will have been dealing with her three young children who loved their gan gan – that was their name for the Queen – and Camilla, the Queen Consort who has been by the King’s side at all these events.

“I can’t help feel how tough it must be in the midst of their personal grief, to attend all the necessary public mourning events, in the glare of the world’s media.”

She discussed the issue with TalkTV Royal Editor Sarah Hewson.
