Soccer fans pour into Qatar for 2022 Fifa World Cup

The soccer world cup begins in Qatar today. The host country is the first in the Middle East to host the tournament.

The build-up has been dominated by criticism of Qatar’s human rights record, treatment of migrant workers and outlawing of homosexuality.

A total of 32 teams will take part in the FIFA world cup 2022. Ecuador will meet Qatar in the opening game in capital Doha, this evening.
