South Africa's ruling ANC holds leadership poll, Ramaphosa seeks re-election

South Africa’s governing African National Congress (ANC) party is holding a leadership poll, with President Cyril Ramaphosa tipped to win a second term.
While the party has faced difficulties – from leadership battles to corruption allegations – it has been in power for nearly 30 years since South Africa’s first democratic elections.
