'Stacked' ABC Q&A panel defends 'dumb dog' slur against Queen

A "stacked" ABC Q&A panel agreed calling the Queen a "dumb dog" just after she died was perfectly reasonable discourse, Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton says.

NRLW player Caitlin Moran received a one-match ban and was fined 25 per cent of her salary after she called Her Majesty a “dumb dog” in a since-deleted Instagram post.

African-Australian writer Sisonke Msimang said it was “shameful” Ms Moran received harsh punishments.

Ms Msimang’s remarks were met with majority agreement on the panel.

"That’s right, the ABC rallying against cancel culture – can you believe it," Mr Houghton said.
