Summits were ‘important forums’ to ‘advance’ national interest: Albanese

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says the recent summits were “important forums to advance Australia’s national interest”.

“You can’t have one nation’s solutions to issues that are global, they require international cooperation, they require goodwill, and they require countries to work together for our common interest,” Mr Albanese told a press conference in Bangkok on Saturday.

“I believe Australia has achieved significant steps forward over the past eight days.”
