We should apply 'a lot of scrutiny' to government's IR bill

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says we should apply “a lot of scrutiny” to the government’s industrial relations bill.

"Every independent has said that this process is completely rushed,” Mr Dutton told Sky News Australia.

He said David Pocock and other independents realise “there is a very significant negative impact on small businesses economy-wide”.

“The multi-employer bargaining arrangements are just the start of this bad bill.

“The bill should be voted down.”
