Western Cape Santaco's Blue Dot programme explained: Mandlakapheli Hermanus

SANTACO in the Western Cape says it’s working on securing private-sector funding to continue with the Blue Dot programme. The provincial government suspended the pilot project, which aimed at ensuring improved service for commuters. The move was at the heart of this week’s strike. Minibus taxis are back on the road, after a two-day stay-away which was marred by violence when buses were torched in Khayelitsha.
